EditHers is the first and only global community dedicated to supporting women in social media video editing. Founded in 2024 by Rachel Kisela, EditHers connects women editors in the creator economy with each other - and with the creators, recruiters, and sponsors who want to champion their work.

 

Women make up nearly half of YouTube’s audience, yet only around 25% of video editors are female. EditHers bridges this gap by building a thriving network where women editors find jobs, mentorship, and support - while giving creators and partners access to vetted, top editorial talent.

 

In its first year, EditHers grew to 200+ members representing channels with a combined reach of 400M+ subscribers, helping members land jobs, collaborate, and access exclusive discounts for video editing tools. The community is also expanding offline, hosting IRL events to deepen connections and strengthen representation across the industry.
